Mike is in the hospital.  He was taken yesterday as he was throwing up blood and had lost a substantial amount.  While in the ER, the hospital staff was moving him and broke his arm between the shoulder and elbow.  He is currently in CCU at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.  I will keep you updated

A few weeks back, I received a trophy for the Dennis Kelly Memorial Series Championship at No Fear Racing.  It is very special to me with respect to a memorial for a very good friend!  RIP Dennis!  You are greatly missed!

The trophy itself is awesome.  Thanks to Terry Underwood and Stan Kelly for putting a Memorial Series together for our fallen friend and providing such a nice trophy for the Championship!

Here are a few pics of the Trophy, Me and the girls.  I could not resist showing off the girls in the process.  Just ignore the ugly guy holding the trophy and focus on the trophy and the girls.  I hope everyone will take a second to remember our friend, Dennis.  He was truely a very rare & special person and we were very lucky to have known him!

PS.  Everyone please check out Terry League and join us on Monday Nights at 9PM Eastern for some great racing and great camaraderie.  Teamspeak: 208.77.144.59:9988  & pass=sce2013

I must thank Phill for being to man he is. I had put too much tape on the last stop and had to breath the throttle a lot, the warning light was on for the entire remainder of the race. Each time I put distance on Phil I would slow to cool the car but I finally messed up and did it too much and about stacked us up. I must thank the guys behind me for not being upset and being smart. I kinda feel bad and dumb. I put those guys in a bad spot where they had to worry about me, I feel dumb cause that was a huge risk me trying to keep the lead and win but was something I had to do. I don't know if anyone else would of done it different if they were under the pressure that they must win the next three races. I will have to work on my sound but it is already very low, so if I could ask you guys to turn your mics up if you can. This is the toughest group I've ever raced with and I'm enjoying it but it is a lot of work.

After the race tonight, I checked my setup and realized I forgot to put back a setting for race that I was testing in practice.   I did the driver's meeting and just forgot to go back and fix the setting.  I tested this setting and did not like it because of the twitchy steering.   Long story-short, I forgot to put this setting back to a more drivable number and struggled with the twitchy steering all night.   It seemed much worse late in the race with higher speeds and more push drafting.  It especially was a handful when I was being pushed while I was engaged to driver in front of me.

I was also told that my side to side movement while pushing was affecting the driver in front and steering their car to some degree.

I apologize for any issues caused by this screw-up on my part.  I feel like an idiot having such a good setup for the race and something like forgetting to change back a setting; taking me out of contention and unable to work with teammates effectively.   I gave it my best with an ill-handling car!

I was happy to see the setup, that I thought I was running made it to victory lane.  Dang you Joel!  LOL  Congrats Bud!

Sorry Guys,

I am working through my issues and already feel better to some degree.  I have a lot on my plate right now and it is not the time to be making decisions about future plans for HDSR.  I am sure that when things calm down in my personal life, the fun factor for Sim Racing will return.

HDSR will continue to provide the open-set venue for SCE, so ignore me on that stuff right now.  LOL  In fact, I may put together a Fun Series for Winter Season, if time permits.  I am nearing the end of 3.5 year project that has me stressed-out.  I should be done in next month or so, then I think things will be much better for me.

I appreciate your understanding!
