I feel bad for having to miss Kansas, with it being my home track and I was looking forward to it after the win I had at Chicago. I had to miss it cause I thought I was dying from the neck pain and nausea I was in from the pain of cervical spinal stenosis. I had taken everything in my medicine arsenal muscle relaxers, nausea medicine, advil, another different kind of nausea pill, and yet nothing worked I was sick all day. I've only been getting 4-5 hours of sleep for a long time now. I got sick this time I think because I ran out of my nerve pain medicine that also had no refills on it on Friday and thought I could wait until Monday. It was a hassle getting it Sunday evening with doctors offices closed. I think my family had to get in personal contact with my doctor. I feel okay now, my neck still hurts but I'm not sick from it anymore. I do well just to be able to do one race a week here and moderate practice, then I hurt all the way the next week till the next race. As long as I have my medicine and do nothing in between races I can survive to run the 160 or so lap races. I missed being there with you guys and look forward to helping my team at Talladega where team work really comes into play.
