In 2012, HammerDown Sim Racing was recreated from our former NR2K3 League(HDSR) and a long-time partner League(HDRL). In 2013, we only ran a partial season, but in 2014 HDSR will operate the full season. We recognized the need & made the decision for our League to run full-time in 2014-forward, for the following reasons:

• The need for a League home for many sim racers who desire a competitive environment to race , but one which the drivers possess high ethical standards and proper racing etiquette.
• Stockcar Evolution is the most realistic Nascar racing simulation in existence and the fact that we will be able to enjoy all the benefits of this great Sim.
• The opportunity to build a solid community of members that share a common interest in Sim Racing and the camaraderie that will come with this.
• The great servers we have at our disposal, to provide a competitive and enjoyable experience for our members.
• The awesome people we have in our admin network to help make all these goals a reality. All of the administrators at HDSR have been Sim Racing for many years and have seen things from both admin and driver perspectives.
