After the race tonight, I checked my setup and realized I forgot to put back a setting for race that I was testing in practice. I did the driver's meeting and just forgot to go back and fix the setting. I tested this setting and did not like it because of the twitchy steering. Long story-short, I forgot to put this setting back to a more drivable number and struggled with the twitchy steering all night. It seemed much worse late in the race with higher speeds and more push drafting. It especially was a handful when I was being pushed while I was engaged to driver in front of me.
I was also told that my side to side movement while pushing was affecting the driver in front and steering their car to some degree.
I apologize for any issues caused by this screw-up on my part. I feel like an idiot having such a good setup for the race and something like forgetting to change back a setting; taking me out of contention and unable to work with teammates effectively. I gave it my best with an ill-handling car!
I was happy to see the setup, that I thought I was running made it to victory lane. Dang you Joel! LOL Congrats Bud!
Sorry Guys,
